Deeply Textured Rectangular(ish) Black & White & Pink Oilspot Planter

$165.00

Hand-carved deeply textured rectangular(ish) ceramic planter in black & white oilspot with pink spots and some greenish-blue highlights. For a pair of plants. Or a unique bonsai scene.

Made with iterations of Kurinuki techniques, local Starworks red stoneware clay, and (lots of) food safe glazes. Fired in an electric kiln. Watch the video for a 360° view, including interior and base, and size relative to my hand. There are a couple rough now-unglazed patches on the underside from where it didn’t want to leave the kiln. Feet aren’t perfectly even, but unless you plan to persistently poke your planter, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Exterior: approximately 10in wide, 7in long, 3in tall; Interior: approximately 8in wide, 4in long, 2in deep. Heavy, with some sharp spots. Great to look at; less great to drop on your foot.

This listing is for the unique piece in the accompanying images and video. Any accessories shown are not included. Please see FAQs for use & care recommendations.

Shipping Note: This piece is not eligible for combined shipping due to its weight and dimensions.
